Haikus From A Young Poet
Any lifetime spent,
Following Rilke’s Solitude:
water down a drain.
A singular voice,
The pipes of isolation,
Battalion of one.
Three forms found in one,
Personal discovery,
Water, ice, and me.
The outside sources,
Hammer like a driving rain,
Self-worth, a shelter.
